Shades of Blue...

I've been getting back into my normal routine this week after returning from a fabulous weekend cruise with my hubby.

SO MANY clothes to wash.  :)

But I think I've finally gotten everything back in order and have rested up... I needed a vacation from my vacation.  Does that every happen to you?

This week's inspirational post is kind of different.... I was totally inspired by last weekend, so I thought I'd share with you.

I've already shown you pictures, and I hope you enjoyed them.

We had so much fun... ate lots of yummy food, played Bingo a few times (and came REALLY close to winning), watched people win (and lose) lots of money in the casino, met some really nice people, saw some really drunk people :), and went to an AWESOMELY beautiful beach in Cozumel.

That was the most inspiring thing we did the whole trip.  It was, by far, our most favorite day.  I wish we had been able to spend more time there... 7 hours just wasn't enough.

The thing that was most inspiring?  THE WATER.  I so wish I could paint a picture portraying the beauty in that water.  Never in my life have I seen water that color.  BLUE.  A true blue.  Not aqua, not turquoise, not navy, not royal.  Just BLUE.

And the shades of blue... just like someone had opened bottles of blue paint, all different, and spilled them across the ocean.

It was absolutely gorgeous.  I could have gotten lost in it.  And the water was so clear.  At 40 feet deep, you could still see the ocean floor.  Amazing.  And breathtaking.

If I had anything to share about my thoughts of our trip, it would be how amazingly magnificent our God is.  Looking out over the vastness of the ocean, seeing nothing for miles and miles... it's so unbelievable.

Of all of the beautiful things he created in this world, he loves ME.

Now THAT'S breathtaking.
