The Great...

... Pumpkin Patch.

Not my favorite place, but one of those places you just kind of HAVE to go.  Since my sister is ALL ABOUT outings, she insisted we go.  And we did have a great time.

Jase was a little (okay, a LOT) on the whiny side, but we managed to have a good time, despite his occasional meltdown.

As you can see, Grandmommy was THRILLED about having her picture made... probably because I forced her.

Jase's favorite part was the wagon ride... he didn't really care about the actual "pumpkin picking" part... however, the wagon experience was the cause of meltdown #3.  There were several wagons available to ride, but he was sure that they were leaving him behind.  I tried to explain that there was another wagon on its way to pick us up, but trying to "explain" something to a screaming 2 year-old is beyond reasonable.

He had a hard time picking out the perfect pumpkin (and Cissy eventually picked one out for him)... he felt they were all too big.  How's that for ya?  Most little boys would choose the BIGGEST, BADDEST pumpkin around... not Jase.

We were glad Grandmommy and Pop decided to join us on the wagon ride... and whether they admit it or not, they enjoyed it. :)

  1. That is so funny - we went last weekend and Brayden wanted "a baby pumpkin". He wanted something he could carry.

Love the pics - Jase is so cute!
